While a war unfolds across the Atlantic, talking about unconditional love for the world may seem like a hopeless waste of time. Although violent aggression must sometimes be met with force, hate for the other side is not necessary. For those of us who aren’t on the front lines, continuing to spread love in our community is a way to promote peace within our society.
According to a study by the Sustaining Peace Project, peaceful countries that consistently maintain harmonious relations with their neighbors develop from individual and community values that emphasize openness, cooperation, and egalitarianism.
