The next time you feel you have a harsh truth to drop on someone, you may want to consider: is this coming from my highest truth or is this coming from my wound?
There is no right or wrong, but if that harsh truth is something you know will cause pain, that you know will be hurtful, perhaps that is your truth in the moment, but is that your Highest Truth? Or is your wound driving you to lash out, to inflict upon others the unresolved pain within you?
Now maybe dropping that truth bomb is what you need to do, maybe not. Only you will know. But if you are feeling agitated, anxious, riled up, feeling a need to lay your harsh truth upon someone, it may beneficial to breathe and consider first. Sit with it, ponder if that is your highest truth that needs to be spoken, or if you should perhaps wait see if a deeper truth comes out.
